We've been doing this a long time....well, some of us at least! It's so easy to forget to take care of ourselves-and our hands. And I mean, really, really take care of your hands! We spend everyday caring for others' hands, but we tend to forget about our own. Here's a few tips:
use mild soap-we are washing constantly.
wear gloves when you can
keep them warm-even if you live in California it gets cold! Buy yourself some hand warmers or pretty gloves. The ones from "Of A Kind" are cool: http://ofakind.com/editions/1548-DONEGAL-KNIT-FINGERLESS-GLOVES

don't bite your nails!
treat yourself and get a manicure-but beware who you allow to touch your hands-don't let the over-cut your cuticles.
